I don't have a tow hook, we have terrible winters here in Alberta and it would be nice to have somewhere easy to hook onto.

And I would be using some grade 8 bolts

They are made for the r51 just go exactly where the tow hook should go

What size bolts are used to mount the stock tow hook?

What do you guys think about cutting something like this out of a big piece of heavy c channel?

that drives me crazy too. I'm a police officer and all the gear in my PC rattles ALL THE TIME and it took hers to not have a panic attack lol. i hate rattles

broke when i got it, slid a small pice of a chip from a broken usb drive in it and it stays closed. looks better closed, you could try putting some clear silicone all around the inside of the cover and perminately sealing it down.
