Probably Trading the PF for a Truck

My son is going off to college and taking my ford truck and one of my techs (the one with a full size truck) is moving on. I'm not going to have ready access to a truck anymore and my company doesn't have room to store a trailer so I think I am going to have to buy a truck. I bought the PF because i...

Do you live in a place that gets much rain. I have to get tires in the next 5k miles and am considering the Rugged Terrain. However, here in SW Louisiana we get a lot of rain.

Earlier this week I took mine in for the idle-relearn and it did make a slight difference. The tech told me new engine mounts might help so they are putting that in tomorrow. When they called this morning to tell me the arts are in, they said the tech called Nissan about the issue and they said to b...

Based on this thread, I changed my oil this weekend to Mobil1 full synthetic and lucas synthetic additive. Wow, that oil filter was on tight; I couldn't get the filter wrench in there very well. What interval are most of you using in changing your synthetic oil? I saw 7500, 5000, and 3000. I think I...

Low Idle

I've noticed my 2010 Pathfinder SE has been idling rough lately(rougher than normal) when sitting at red lights. When in gear it idles at about 600RPM whether the AC is on or not. Is that low? When it's not in gear it still idles about 600RPM but it's not as rough, but it is still rough. My Pathfind...

Thanks guys. As I said, I don't really go off-road that much. Just on commercial construction sites, which sometimes have a lot of debris, nails, mud, sand, cut sheet metal and stuff like that. I haven't had a problem with these tires yet, but was looking for something a little more aggressive looki...

Tire Loudness

Right now I have the factory BFG Long Trail Radial tires. Are the All Terrain TA tires much louder on the interstate? I do a lot of highway travel, but I go on construction sites a lot and am prone to running over crap. I thought All terrain tires might handle it better, but I really don't want to h...

Wow, so you were getting roughly 11-13MPG with the faring on? I only get 13-15 without any sort of rack.

Question about style?

I have a 2wd 2010 PF SE. Would I be considered a poser if I put AT tires and a Yakima rack on it. I don't go off-roading, but I do go on construction sites a lot.

I've never used anything but premium in mine. If the sticker says premium, that's what it gets. My OCD tendencies would melt my brain if I tried to use regular. I think I would actually lose sleep over it.
