Thanks for the links. For some reason, Bilstein only has the rears listed on their application guide and none of my usual shock sources had anything either. I'm a big fan of Bilsteins. I forgot to mention above that I did find the Ranchos but I'm not looking for any lift. I'm basically rally-racing ...

Front struts-nothing available?

All I can find are Monroe Sensa-tracs (no thanks). Has anyone found anything else? I get a helluva jump out of the front suspension/steering over certain bumps and wanted to try new shocks/struts first. I get a lot more wallow than I care for as well so that seemed like a good place to start. Anyone...

We were getting horrible winds yesterday and it was pretty loud. Normally it's quite good so I can't complain too much about that. I've thought about adding the side window vents but sometimes they create MORE noise. Both of my kids are in boosters and they have a terrible time buckling in the Pathy...

Sounds perfectly normal to me if this is all city driving as you stated before. These are rated 14/20 and you said you have a somewhat heavy foot. City EPA really isn't "city" driving anyway so it's usually easy to do a lot worse than the rating. You're probably also getting winter fuel wh...

Mine is slow as well. 72-73 on the speedo is 70 according to GPS. I'm not sure if the Odometer is off as well though, they're not always directly in relation. I haven't checked it against a measured marker yet. Our Honda Odyssey the speed reads slow by about 2mph but the odometer reads about 3% HIGH...

Before the BFG A/T i was getting 320 miles on a full tank about 19mpg average. Now with the up sized tires I get 290-300. about 17mpg Have you adjusted for the speedo/odo difference when calculating? Or can you adjust this on the Pathfinder? I made the same change on my Tundra at one point (265/65-...

You drive in the city. End of story. For my commute I generally get EPA highway or better. I was expecting 20 with the Pathfinder but haven't hit it yet. We're still on winter fuel though so I'll bet I get there soon. I was getting 17 with a V8 Tundra and 52 with a VW Jetta diesel.....it's rural sta...

I haven't figured out the fuel guage yet....but now that weather has cleared I'm averaging 18-19 and going about 340 miles before the light comes on. I can only get 18 gallons in the tank though...so either the guage is on major nanny mode or this tank doesn't hold nearly what is advertised. How far...

I'm not sure the photo's really do it justice (although the reflector is pretty tough to argue....) but you can see more than the camera captures. It's pretty good for comparitive purposes though. There is a pine tree about 20' beyond the reflector that you can see clearly in the Ody, but it doesn't...

Adjusted them tonight. One full turn on drivers side, two full turns on passenger side. The gap under the headlamp is rather large on the passenger side so they're probably higher than normal. I took it out my drive just to see if I could tell a difference (really couldn't). The first pic is low-bea...

I suppose anything is possible. No accidents according to previous owner, just three oil changes and I bought at 15k. I suppose it's possible she complained of blinding other drivers and they adjusted them. Doesn't look like anyone here has really tried so I'm going to go it alone. I think I'll turn...

Well 4x4 vs 4x2 is a big difference. There's a $2,000 difference when new and sometimes more than that used anywhere the snow flies. You'd probably get $18k on trade for yours but it should be closer $19-20k on a private deal or $21-22k certified on a dealer lot. $23-24k if 4x4....so $25k for a year...

I will change out the lights if adjusting doesn't do anything. More interested in trying the adjustment first as there's a clear cut-off to the OEM lights on high beam. They just don't shine very far down the road. My previous Tundra, wifes Odyssey, and my Dodge all had nearly twice the distance.

Headlights

I've had the Pathfinder a few months and my biggest complaint so far is the headlights. Worst of any vehicle I've owned in many years and I'm driving primarily state-routes crossing national forests....200# deer everywhere. Switching to high beams does very little and you can see where the beam has ...

Doesn't seem that bad. I'm not a fan of leather so went for a loaded SE, but a certified LE around that price would have been in the ballpark. Certified should run $1,000-1,500 over a non-certified unit. It's basically a powertrain warranty and that's a pretty typical price anyway. 2008 was a minor ...
