Thanks for the update. This is really great to hear, and seems to be spot-on with the reviews (albeit non-Manitoba frozen winters). I am checking prices on them this week. I may just go with stock 245/75/16, as this is used for a very very low daily km commute and rubbing will surely be noticed by t...
I know this is an old thread, but was curious to know how the Cooper's worked out, especially in the winter? As well, I know stock is 245/75/16, I assume there is no rubbing etc by goign with the 265/7016's? My Open Country's are completely done, I was able to limp through the summer but now have to...
Plain jane 2008 Pathfinder S, 117,000 kms. Silver, 6cylinder, safety inspection coming in a week or so. New pads, rotors and calipers all around, new rad (warranty). Shifts strong, no leaks. Asking $12,900. Note - It may need tires, and would consider putting on specific tires (within reason) for a ...
Yikes, this is starting to get ugly. I actually don't know what they were looking up. I don't know if they have the PIN tools, as I haven't found a schematic to see how it connects. I can't find a good schematic of it all (and I've been looking..for hours). Maybe I can start with Kent-Moore, wow, th...
Thanks very much. Do you have any idea what the part # would be for this? Update - I spoke with Yury at Wiring Specialties, and he suggested that I try their "knock sensor", given that it looks identical to what is on the wheel speed sensor. http://www.wiringspecialties.com/connectorg.html...
I had the same VDC / ABS / SLIP light on. We tracked it down (via code) to the left front wheel speed sensor. However, it is the "male connector" that attaches to the wheel speed sensor. Nissan does not stock the part, it's considered "obsolete." Anyone have any ideas where to so...
Disallow- can you peek at your pms if you have a couple minutes [quote="disallow"]I think it fair to say that when the 4wd indicator is blinking, the 4wd is not engaged. I'm pretty sure at this point the wet clutch in the t-case is disengaged, and the only component left to disengage is th...
I have duratrac's on my 'other' car (2010 F150 supercab). I did a 5,000km road trip with them, and well, they performed flawlessly, very little road noise. Great in the winter (tested last year), and rain, etc.
Dealing with some FRIGID temperatures here on the 'prairies, and looking to retain a bit more heat (the Path doesn't heat up NEARLY as well as my other cars..Volvos).
Anyone know if there is an after-market winter grille cover?
(Note: I've looked high and low and nothing).
New member here, from the great land of cold and flat. Picked up a 2008 Path "S", with just under 100kms. Wasn't really "looking" for it, just came my way, and was a very good deal. It ain't perfect (a few scratches etc), but so far seems to be okay. Oh, and it has some absurdly ...
Any folks here from the Canadian Prairies (Manitoba) that may be able to suggest a shop that could do the by-pass for me? I am having a bit of cold feet about doing this solo, given a few recent screw-ups on other brands. A bit "shy" these days to handle solo wrenching. PM if you have any ...
Thanks for the info. This has to be the STRANGEST thing I have every heard of. A modern vehicle that does NOT have a cargo cover. I am going to chat with a custom place, to see if they can build something OR look at folks from the expedition world, see if anyone has built something. I have to say, m...
Sorry to revive an old(er) thread, but does anyone know how to take the push-pin console out? The latch is broken and I want to replace it (on a "new to me 2008 S Pathy).
