FS: Plug and play double din radio for 2005(?) Pathfinder

Sold the wife's pathfinder today. Took this out before she went. This was working perfect when pulled and is in excellent shape. Will come with everything including box plus prewired wiring harness, dash kit and antenna adapter. It has been wired to bypass brake so you can play did while driving. SOLD

I replaced the original brakes and rotors on my wifes 05 SE with the ones listed in this thread. It has been a week and I drove it last night and noticed that at low speed with brake applied (parking lot looking for a spot speed) there was a constant squeak coming from the rear. Pretty much sounded ...

I tried this and it seemed to have helped. Thanks for the tip! I didn't jack up the front so I may have to do it again, but I cannot notice the sound now.

2005 Pathfinder SE water sounds behind glovebox

My wifes 05 Pathfinder SE has some weird water draining/trickling/rushing from what sounds like behind the glovebox. Most noticeable when cold and when accelerating (change in pitch of vehicle?) Pathfinder is stock and has not had any major repairs required. Any ideas what it could be?

done. get the u joint press tool from autozone, it makes it so much easier! had the first u joint completely out in about 10 minutes and didn't worry about beating anything up.
worse part of the whole thing was probably putting the driveshaft back in and tightening the rear bolts. good luck!

U joint replacement pending

I decided to change the u joints myself. I sprayed them with pb blaster the other day just for peace of mind. I started this evening at 8:30 to see if I could even loosen the dreaded bolts everyone was talking about.... a wrench on the nut against the undercarriage to keep it from turning and a sock...

Steering wheel shake on a 2005

Just got some new tires put on my 05 with balance and alignment and the wheel shake that I thought was from the old tires really didn't go away. its most noticeable around 60-75ish. just a slight back and forth twitching of the steering wheel. assuming the tires and wheels were balanced properly any...

done

just did mine. wasn't too bad and everything went as expected including the top bolts which must have been tightened by the hulk himself. "breaker bar" extensions, and wrenches on ratchet handle were the ticket. took me about 2hrs for both. both were shot. I could compress them by hand and...

Anyone have a how-to for a 2005 Rear Strut Replacement?

I have searched this forum for hours and cant find anything specific. How hard is the rear strut install? remove the tire, remove the 2 nuts from the strut, push up on the lower control arm and remove bolts? do i need to compress the spring at all? was hoping to come across a post with a walkthrough...

Free: Metra dash kit 05 and up - Houston

I purchased Metra #99-7581 around christmas and I only needed the double din surround. I was gonna throw the rest of it out but I figured someone might be able to use it. Do not want to deal with shipping or driving all the way across town so it's free if your in Houston near 77581 or 77503 http://i...
