Max, I have tried adjusting the volume etc. My understanding is that the vents are for the ultrasonic alarm sensors and that the microphone is behind the small hole at the end. Thanks for that Max, it seems a bit better, i think the main problem is the fact that the car is a right hand drive and it was obviously designed as a left hand drive as the microphone is on the left handisde of the car. I might have a look and see what sort of connection the microphone has and see ...

UK 2006 Pathfinder Factory handsfree problems
I have a problem with the factory handsfree in that i can hear people loud and clear but they cannot hear me very well, seem s to be a problem with the microphone.
