The early oil pressure switches were three-wire type and the gauge actually showed the oil pressure. Around 07 the changed to basically a "dummy gauge" and I believe the switch is a single wire type. There's not really a need to add an external cooler on North American models as they come with an external cooler from the factory and the transmissions seem to be running plenty cool with the factory cooler.
