Does anyone have a driver side running board that they are not using? Maybe someone has replaced their boards with something new. My 2006 Pathfinder is missing the cover on the driver side board and it drives me nuts. I've search several junkyards around here to no avail.

It should work just fine. It's infrared. The hardest part would be figuring out the code/manufacturer. Get a remote that allows you to search code by code. Or, get a learning one, send it to me and I'll program the commands for you and send it back!

I'm trying to get the dealership to cover the cost. I just bought this 3 weeks ago and had this problem initially, but they were able to get it working for 2 weeks. Now it's happening again. I'll let you know what it is and what it costs if I take it in.... The think it is misaligned somehow.

My 06 drivers seat does the exact same thing! Every movement is accentuated with a nice squeak from the drivers seat. Have you pulled it apart and lubed it yet? I'll be curious if that works and what it costs.
