My wife still laughs at me for parking at the back of the lot at Walmart. I don't do that for every place I go, but Walmart tends to have more than its quota of absolutely useless members of society.

Are you listening to audio CDs or mp3 files on a CD?

I have never experienced exactly what you are describing. I play mp3 CDs through mine and every once in a while it seems to skip slightly but it is always the same few songs, so I attribute it to the file on my CD.

As for the ones near the VDC, my 2005 manual list them as (from left to right):

Heated Seat Switch (Driver)
Vehicle Dynamic Control
Hill Descent Control
Heated Seat Switch (Passenger)

Next to the mirror adjustment is the Pedal Position Adjustment Switch (my second one is blank).

Interesting... Once per month I load her up with 700 pounds of cargo to take out to the airport. Is that enough to warrant a pressure change? And if so, in which direction. My assumption is that more weight would require more pressure, although when you make an assumption you look like an ass and th...

PSI Confusion

I have had my Pathfinder for a short time and I am a little confused about the 'recommended' tire pressure. I have four new Yokahama Geolander H/T-S P265/65R17 tires the dealer put on when I bought it. The door sticker recommends 35 PSI and the tire itself only lists a max pressure of 51 PSI. I chec...

I have also been kind curious about this, but specifically the Shrockworks Frontier bumper. Anyone know if it works for the Pathfinder without any modifications?

I have had my 05 for a little more than a month now and just noticed squeeling the last few cold mornings. I can't imagine it is an aftermarket belt but I guess they would have sold it to me with whatever belt was on there. It seems to go away when the engine warms. Would cold weather / cold engine ...

My 05 was pretty saggy when I bought it so I had the dealer replace the struts. Now it holds all the way open like it should. At 6'1", I still feel like I have to duck a little bit every time I walk under it though.

Thanks for the info HillbillyJake. I just sent my new baby back to the dealer to fix a few little odds and ends I asked for at sale time. I just can't wait to pick her up again tomorrow so I can drive her some more (and I won't have to drive my wife's Sonata to work).

Hello from Sarasota

Hi all... my wife and I just bought our first Pathfinder yesterday... a beautiful 2005 LE with 38,000 miles. I love driving it and it feels like a great truck. I started looking at reviews online today and they make it sound like every 2005 needs a new transmission every 40,000 miles or so do to lea...
