Merci!

Merci Fleurys! I actually already have the manual. That is what motivated me to get online! The factory service manual doesn't talk about what kind of equipment needs to be available, for example it won't say, "you need a twenty ton press" or "be sure that you lift the car up on xyz r...

Suspension - what to buy or have available before trying...

Hey everyone! I saw a post on the cost of replacing suspension parts, but I didn't see anything on what to have handy when you do it. I went ahead and started a new thread, I really want to talk about all parts of suspension repair. Specifically: What equipment is necessary to replace the shocks and...

one other thing

sorry! one other thing,

What does it feel like when you go over bumps? Is it stiff?
Is it time to replace the springs and shocks?

I am asking because I am thinking of doing the same. The ride is a little stiff.
But I don't remember the handling when It was new.

ok thanks!

Did you u...

suspension discussion

Hi everyone! I have a 2000 LE, and I think the ride is getting rough. At what point do you consider replacing suspension parts? In which order is it done? (I mean, are the shocks more likely to give out before the springs do) I realize that noone can diagnose a problem from an online description but...

I wanted to say that I have noticed my PF is riding kindof roughly, I was thinking about replacing the shocks and struts and coil springs, Do you think that is a terrible idea? I can't find anywhere online where it says the average life of these parts, but I am thinki...

Hi I live in Houston

Hey i just signed up. I am going to try to save the pathfinder! but I need help so that is why I am here. Nothing is broken or extremely wrong with it, but it is now 10 years old, the only thing not stock are the tires. I was wondering if anyone would suggest tools that are a must. Or books that rea...
