Re: Need brighter lights

Palmerwmd, Sorry for the delayed update. So far, I’ve not had any drivers flash me at night. I’ve been on highways and dark back roads with good traffic. The fog lights really light up both shoulders when driving two lane roads. My passenger noticed the difference right away vs my old halogens. The ...

Re: Need brighter lights

Palmerwmd, Yes, I think LEDs have come a long ways. I will probably upgrade my 370Z’s headlights to Morimoto LED headlights this summer. From what I can tell, the light pattern on the Pathfinder looks the same but noticeably brighter. But then again, it’s really hard seeing true pattern with the dim...

Re: Should the heater pipe be a preventative maintenance part?

I just had this part fail on me while it was at the dealership for maintenance. I ended up ordering the all metal upgrade and installing it myself. My metal replacement did not have any bends or defects in the horizontal pipes. It lines up perfectly to the firewall. Like lebowski, I had to get longe...

Re: Need brighter lights

Hello. I had same issue as OP and needed to have brighter lights on my 05 Pathy. I wanted something brighter than halogens but know there’s not much on the market for projectors. My headlights and fog lights are in great shape. My other vehicles all have HID lights and I wanted to upgrade to somethi...

Re: Cross country trip: AZ to NC

Hi. I just wanted to give my experience with that exact drive. My 2005 Pathfinder and 370Z Roadster were both in Scottsdale, AZ. I have made the drive from AZ to Raleigh, NC twice now. Both times I had to drive through Asheville. I drove my Pathfinder and Z on two separate trips. It’s a beautiful dr...

Sorry, I just now saw your post. I've been having warm weather here later and decided to take the GT-R out since all the snow has melted. I've decided to not let it sit in the garage all winter. Anyways, it was nice pretty much all week so I decided to wash off all the salt and crap off the SUVs. Ea...

I do see a lot of Range Rover Sports where I live too. I never noticed them until I purchased one about 3 years ago. It's definitely different than my pathfinder or Armada. It serves it's purpose. I wanted a nicer SUV but didn't want to spend over 100k for a Porsche Cheyanne Turbo S. I purchased my ...

For those with black vehicles...come on in!

Hello all! I have mostly black or dark vehicles and I was wondering what product do you guys use? I'm talking about waxes and polishes for exterior. I was bored to death today so I polished 3 of my black vehicles. Each one I ended up using different products. One vehicle I used Zaino. Another one I ...

I went to the dealership to take a closer look at the R52. I originally needed to buy two to have in AZ. What a disappointment. That new Pathfinder reminded me so much of minivan and like someone had mentioned, a Murano XL! Now, I've been considering the new Range Rover but I have to say, they look ...

@ eieio - I'm not 100% sure if it't the switch that is bad or the sensor. I'm normally a DIY and have the right tools and such, but I am just pressed for time. It's just easier for me to have someone drop it off and have the shop work on it. Not a big deal if it's going to be a few hundred dollars o...
