I read about this trick a while back on another forum for an Xterra or maybe a Frontier. But basically by putting in a simple spacer you alter the way the sensor reads/detects. I have the same problem with my 05 Pathfinder with 127k on the odometer...I posted questions on the another thread (that long thread with 28 pages) But I will attempt to flush my tranny in the am and see if this helps.
