If you do end up replacing the upstream converters, it should be noted that most companies require replacement of the upstream oxygen (or air/fuel ratio) sensors with converter replacement to enforce the warranty. I was thinking about just changing the upstream A/F sensors to see if they make a dif...

Sorry for the long story. I don't want to miss any detail as I ask for help. In September 2018 I was driving from Indiana to Wyoming. Indiana elevation of 1,100ft, Wyoming elevation of 10,000ft. In Nebraska (4,000ft elevation) and on the interstate, my 2006 Pathfinder started chugging like the gas t...

2006 Pathfinder Timing Chain Tool - WTB

I have a 2006 Pathfinder. I have had it since 2008. My last trip to the dealer they told me I need the timing chain tensioners replaced. They quoted me $2800. After researching online, I started wondering why they didn't tell me about this problem the 100 other times I had been there before the warr...

2006 Pathfinder Front Driver Side Door Stuck

Hi everybody! I have seen a lot of posts about stuck and locked rear Pathfinder doors, but not anything on front or passenger doors. I have a 2006 Pathfinder with 127XXX miles on it. This morning I went to open the drivers side door. I heard a noise, but didn't notice anything until I went to close ...

I attached a pic below. its obviosly not to scale but it shows the loop and which hose I plan to eliminate. http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e271/allisojh/Presentation2.jpg I did the bypass, and I used the "removed" hose in your picture on the radiator instead of caps. It created a conti...

Radiator Assembly Warranty

I just received a letter from Nissan today that indicates they are extending the warranty from 36 months/36,000 miles to 96 months/80,000 miles. The letter states the warranty includes damage and repair. Will that cover the damage and repair to the transmission should the radiator fail, or does it c...

What negative things have you heard on transmission flushes? Did anything negative happen after your flush at 55K?

The issue exists in 2006 models too. I did the bypass on my 06 3 months ago when it had about 45K on it. No problems to report here.

Where would this be mounted? I did the bypass last month with no problems, but am worried about towing next spring with a boat.

Is this external cooler in front of the radiator on the passenger side standard on all 2006 Pathfinder models? Or just the ones with towing package?

First things first........this is a long read, but I am thankful for everybody taking the time to help each other out on this subject. I plan to do the bypass this week on my 06 Pathfinder. I have read that there is a 2nd transmission cooler inline. How would I know if I had this? Is it stock on all...

2006 Pathfinder Handling

Hello Everybody! My wife and I purchased a new to us 2006 Pathfinder LE V6. When we test drove the Pathfinder, we didn't think about sitting in the back since that isn't where we thought we would be doing most of our riding. We have a newborn baby and now my wife rides in the back from time to time....
