Thanks for the responses guys I figured that I would have to go to dealer.

On a newer Ford if you have 2 working keys then you program additional keys yourself. Can you do this on a Nissan?

New Key Programming

2009 Pathfinder bought used with only one key and remote. Several questions. I noticed the keys are about $20 each on ebay. How much do dealers usually charge for the key, and how much do they charge for programming? Also are Nissans like Ford PATS2 keys so you can program your own key but you need ...

How many miles did you put on it? I would want a brand new vehicle or a bunch of free stuff after only 2.5 weeks. Make a few phone calls to the dealer and then Nissan corporate if you don't get anywhere and be persistent.

Sorry to threadjack but I was looking at that kit for $225 and wondering if it is worth the price. Is the quality of the factory lights better than the aftermarket kits on amazon or ebay?

I will call Carmax and see what they say but since it was a used car I don't have high hopes. It only had 9.5K miles when we bought it and the battery looks stock so I have no idea why that piece is missing. Maybe Carmax removed the battery when they steam cleaned the engine bay and forgot to reatta...

I figured something was missing, my Ford has a bolt down strap and a plastic cover over the battery. We got the Pathfinder used from Carmax so I guess I need to buy the bracket from a dealer.

09 Pathfinder battery tie down?

I bought a used 09 Pathfinder in Feb. and I just noticed that the battery is sitting on a tray with nothing holding it down. Isn't there supposed to be a strap or bracket of some sort holding down the battery? I bungee corded but wanted to make sure before I go to the dealer.

The Husly cargo mat came in last night and went in no problem. Overall it fit good but my wife doesn't like having the raised lip in the rear so I may have to trim it down.

shanker thanks for the feedback on the 2nd row will have to keep that in mind. The stock floormats are really thin and I'm sure we will soon be replacing them all.

Thanks that is very helpful, I think we will go with the Husky. Cost is about $60 cheaper and I don't think we will use the 3rd row seat very often.

Cargo Mat

Looking for a cargo mat for 09 Pathfinder and I keep running across Weathertech and Husky brands. Are there any preferences here?

My main concerns are that it stays in place while loading/unloading and durable.
