I just looked again the bridgestones are load range E. They have a special on them too. No I don't work for them. Like I said I used tire rack's price quote and took it to my local tire store as a bargaining chip

I just checked and they make the Bridgestone in your size. It about $40 more per tire than the 70 series. Figures. It's a great tire though

Wait a minute. Your stock is 75 series? Maybe the off-road package is the reason? My door jam sticker calls for a 70 series.

I also have an '06 and just put my second set of tires on. I'm the original owner. My first replacements were Kumhos. Garbage. The ride was smooth but wet traction was horrible. I ended up replacing them while they still had a fair amount of tread. I just put Bridgestone Dueler A/T's on. Factory siz...

Sooo simple

I can't believe how long I've put up with that annoying squeak/chirping sound coming from my truck. I finally got around to trying the electrical tape on the hood latch. That'll never work, too easy I said. Needless to say, it worked. Thanks to all who have suggested that fix. I don't know what woul...

I don't know how the reset(that's temporary anyway) is done but I had a similar experience. Put new wheels and tires on the truck and used the sensors from my stock wheels in the new ones but one was rusted or frozen on so they had to replace it with an aftermarket one. When I left the shop all was ...

I had a bad vibration recently and it seemed to be coming from under the vehicle. When I let off the gas it was bad. Under acceleration it went away or became less obvious. It was a bad u-joint. Good luck

Yea it's a magnet alright. I have a cargo liner for the bottom and put a moving blanket on top of that for cushion. The I put a fitted sheet over the back of the second row to protect seat back. Not the best look but I only use it when transporting the dog and take it off and shake it out when I'm d...

Thanks, I don't think the service manual link on this site is working though. I was able to find it on nickoclub.com . Looks more complicated than I thought. Thanks for the info.

Emergency brake adjustment

Trying to find out how to adjust the emergency brake on my '06. I did a search and was directed to the sticky under service manuals. There is a section on the parking brake but the link seems incomplete, only 8 pages and it's just specs on stuff. Not how to adjust or diagram of area. Maybe Nissan as...

Thanks! That link was very specific, almost makes me think I could do that myself. I have an '06 pathfinder but it should be the same as the '05 they are describing. If this is indeed the problem then it doesn't look like there are any real moving parts I am damaging at the moment. Thanks again for ...

I did search for the bulletin you provided and wasn't able to find the exact one. Is it related to the power valve actuator? Doesn't sound like a home repair job either way but as much specific info I have the better when I talk to the service department. Thanks in advance for more info/links you ca...

Thanks for the replies. I don't think it's the heat shield though. I did have that one before and I thought at first it was similar but it's not. Sounds like engine. I have done all the required maintenance so hopefully not build up or anything. Valves or pistons slap maybe. I'm not familiar with pi...

2.2K rattle?

I saw in another post someone mentioned this. Oreogaborio I think. Anyway, for about the last 1,000 miles or so I've noticed what sounds like a Diesel engine at almost exactly that RPM. Just over 2,000 RPMs under a mild acceleration. Any faster or slower and the sound is gone. I waited to see if rep...

Cool video. Pine barons off 206? I live nearby but from the looks of some of that I'd be afraid of getting stuck.
