So my Pathfinder has now gone from starting and immediately stalling to not starting at all. I went to start it to go to an appointment this morning and it would crank but would never fire and start. Anyone have any thoughts?

The knock sensor won't cause a drivability concern, but the MAP sensor would and could cause the engine to run in a way that triggers the knock sensor. Perfect thank you! I'll swap out the MAP sensor and hope that fixes it! I'll keep the knock sensor I bought just in case it needs to be changed eve...

97 Pathfinder stalling

Hey guys, I just started driving my Pathinder full time again and I'm making steps in making reliable. Today, I started the car, it idled rough then died within a few seconds. I turned the key off then started it again and it ran just fine. It happened again at the store then a third time at O'Reill...

Car died randomly

Has anyone had an issue with their pathfinder randomly dying? I have a 97 and the other day it started just fine when I went to the store. When I left, it took an extra half a second or so to start. I went to leave and it just died in the exit to the parking lot. I started it again, it ran for about...

Tire question

Is anyone running 30x9.5R 15LT tires? My 31s rub and are in bad shape so I'm in need of tires. I found these for sale at a wrecking yard for $200. They're in really good shape and the same tires ivr been shopping for. Also does anyone know what the LT stands for after the wheel size? Any feedback is...

Not looking to thread jack, but I was also looking on RockAuto for these parts. Does anyone have an opinion on the MOOG upper links? They are about $20 less than the Dorman links. RockAuto is by far the best price I've found for the links.

The two, upper links are the same part, left and right, and the two, lower links are the same part (but not the same as the upper links). I would recommend you get all, new bolts from Nissan and make sure you have a Sawzall. You may luck out and the bolts will come out, but it's still best to put n...

Rear trailing arms

So i've been dealing with the death wobble for some time now. I rarely drive the Pathfinder, so I have not been too worried about replacing the trailing arms. Now that I am wanting to drive it more and have a need to drive it, I am looking to replace the upper and lower trailing arms. That being sai...

I have a 97 Pathfinder with roughly 148,000 miles on it. Got it when it had 121,000 on it. It sat for a year or so and now it is back to being a daily driver. Need to replace the tires and the rear control arms. Just had to change the battery and change the oil on it and it has been solid. 0 issues ...

Cigarette lighter

Hey everyone. I have a 1997 Nissan Pathfinder that the girlfriend is driving so I'm trying to get things straightened out with the car and in working order. Does anyone know of any common issues with the cigarette lighters in the car? We've tried to use it to charge our phones but it isn't getting a...

Cigarette lighter

Does anyone know if it's hard to replace the cigarette lighter? I checked it for power and it has power but I can't get anything to work on it and thats a main way of charging my phone. Any thoughts?
