go to part store to buy $2.99 test lite. open hood. disconnect horn wiring connection. connect alligator clip from test lite to negative battery post or unpainted metal surface on vehicle. touch pointed portion on metal connector that was disconnected and get assistant to push on horn/steering wheel...

i do believe that some of the parameters can be adjusted, but after the scan tool is disconnected, any changes are returned to factory settings. i think only one of very few changes can be made at one time. prolly want the consult 2, not the consult 1. last i seen it was near 5 grand with the conver...
