Tranny downshifts when applying brakes

i've noticed my 08 PF down shifts when i'm on the brakes. i could understand this if i was going down a huge hill, but it does it on the slightest grade and even if i'm just slightly applying the brakes.

is this normal? never had a vehicle that down shifted so quickly once the brakes are used.

wouldn't having the fogs on a separate rocker switch, hard wired be better? that way you could have the fogs on with the high beams.

just bought a 08 PF and will be doing this bypass ASAP. What the difference between the two versions mentioned in this thread. The "3/8" double ended barbed hose connector" method and the other "free - move hoses" method? Would you also recommend a tranny fluid drain/ refill...
