Normal wear and tear items. You can't expect it to last forever.. Aside from the brakes, none of the items that the OP listed should be "normal wear and tear items". Lets be honest the Pathfinder is not a very well-built vehicle but it's great when we're not repairing it. I would consider...

A leaky radiator is not a normal wear and tear item :o it's a F'ing issue Nissan has period! It is when manufacturer's choose to use radiators with plastic end tanks. quote] Dead on. This will happen with most eventually it's not just a Nissan problem. Different materials expand and contract differ...

I have leather with 129000 and no rips or tears but generally its not THE most comfortable seat but I don't think its too bad either. The upgrade would be to switch to the QX56 seats or whatever else they come in, loaded titans or armada's I would imagine. They are like couches :)

I have always used synthetic and change it religiously at 3k miles. jeez. that's a bit much  then again.... if money/time isn't an issue to you, might as well I take pride in having a spotless engine :) plus with the small poor excuse for a filter nissan provided for us I would not want to p...

What would happen if this goes unaddressed and the chain breaks? Would the engine seize ? Would you lose control of the car? The two guides that make the noise are the ones on the two secondary chains, the ones that link each cam together. I guess if it was bad enough if could loosen up enough to b...

it would be interesting to know what year models, and at what mileages, these timing chain issues are occuring, and if it seems to be related to maintenance (type of oil & filter and frequency of oil/filter maintenance) maybe a poll is in order? I have always used synthetic and change it religi...
