Why is it important that the exaust system be grounded? And is it not grounded to the engine block already?

You can never have too much filtration. Good idea. Unfortunately if you already had the mix, chances are some damage was done. Hopefully not though.

I havent dug into the workings of mine yet, but I would think that there is quite a bit of heat on them. I did the bypass 2 months ago. Not even a month later I looked at the rubber caps that I used to cap the radiator cooler and they were cracking. Im beginning to wonder if the trans fluid is caustic itself.

The one hose comes from the trans, the one on the right goes to the cooler. There is no center hose so not sure what you mean. The deal on the top center is where i put the sender for the trans temp gage. The bottom center hose clamp is the cap from where i disconnected the cooler lines from the rad...
