I had asked 15,500 for it, but by the time they twisted and turned to make the deal, they gave me 15,900........on paper that is. Nobody but the dealer ever wins, but that is fair trade value according to Kelley Blue Book. Not bad for a gas guzzler.

Bye Bye Pathy...unfortunately

Well after much debating and weighing options, I decided to trade the Pathfinder today. Gas is just too much to be driving a large SUV and it was costing me almost the same in gas per month as the actual loan payment. That on top of all the mechanical issues that continued to come about (new transmi...

Well the trans itself is warrantied for another 8K miles so if its valve body Ill take it in. Its through a secondary warranty company and when I had the trans replaced, it took 3 1/2 weeks just to get them to approve the claim. I figure if its something minor I can fix it myself and save the hassle...

Have your alignment checked. My brother's Explorer was pulling to the right under braking which seemed to be signs of sticking brakes. Turned out the lower control arm bolt had worked loose and was castering the steering under braking.

Trans defaulting to 3rd

So I have noticed now that when my trans jerks and sticks in 3rd (limp mode), it seems to only do this when raining. The code it throws is something to do with a solenoid. So I am guessing a short or bad connection. Can I remove the wiring harness and put dielectric grease in it to protect from mois...

It's legal in Arizona! (I don't really drive with it there but it does fit well.)
I used to do that until I got pulled over one day. I was told its not really "concealed"

I used the tee connector because I installed the temp sensor sender there. Otherwise no need for it

Is there not a way to fold down the middle seat in the second row? The other two fold almost flat, but this one wont go flat.

Have you called the trans. shop that put the last one in for you? Sounds like they should be the one going to bat for you here. They put in a unit, and presumably got paid for it (by the extended warranty company) that shizzed the bed in a very short period of time. Any good shop should take care o...

I called the 3rd party company and they said that if it is a parts failure, they would have no issue having the manufacturer send another for replace. However, they suggested I contact Nissan also Nissan said for me to take it to the dealer and have it diagnosed. If it is the trans then it would be ...
