I'm having the same issue with my 1998 as well and have been searching for a solution. My available power noticably drops at 3100rpm but then picks up again around 3600. Occasionally I'll have have a bit of hesitation at different speeds as well though, usuall when the engine is cold.

Hey all

I've had my 98 Chilkoot edition since August 2007. It replaced a crapalier and its been an amazing vehicle. I haven't done a lot with it and its starting to need a bit of attention about now. I'm just on the verge, about 300kms away, from rolling over 200,000kms on the odometer.
