I'll be doing this soon. You can hear the tensioner rattling. I know it's the tensioner because I've watched it to find the point of noise. I assume the tensioner isn't that bad to replace? I'm not worried about the belt job, that's cake.

The wife's Pathy has this issue. I bought a new sensor from O'Rielly's for less than $20.

Anyone got a pic of the exact location? Or is it THAT obvious where it is once I get under there to replace?

I have 138K miles. I did the bypass and had the trans flushed. All shuddering and hard shifts are gone....for now. I hope I caught it in time. The radiator and thermostat is next to replace. was there coolant in the trans oil? Maybe a dismal amount. The fluid looked good during the flush but toward...

Wow, my thoughts on the reliability of the Pathfinder have been shot to shit! Anyways, I read the first 10 pages and will be doing the bypass tomorrow. My question is, which has been asked and discussed only a couple times that I saw, once symptoms of "shuddering" have appeared while drivi...

I'm going to bump this older thread because I'm having issues and think the cam sensor is the culprit. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Vehicle: 2006 Pathy SE Symptoms: - Pathy starts fine when cold - Warms up, wants to die - gave it gas to keep it from dieing and the VDC and SLIP light come ...
