i installed a new battery about a little over 6 months ago and i try to keep the battery terminals clean every time i do an oil change. maybe a cell is starting to go bad on the battery? thanks for your reply!
driving my wife's pathy yesterday and i noticed the odometer turned oooooo, heard a beep and dash light dimmed simultaneously and then went back to normal. this happened 4 times within a 15 min time span. has anyone seen this before?
got the pathy back from the dealership this afternoon. they replaced the cat converter. it was still under 8/80000 so it was replaced no charge to me. now i have two new cats on the pathy. would have cost me a little over $2000 (both cats) if i was over the warranty. so to sum up all the repairs/rep...
dropped off the pathy at the dealer tonight. service advisor will let me know what the fix will be. however, he did tell me that bank 1 is the driver side. that cat was replaced a month and half back. maybe the o2 sensor is bad?
another question...will the ses light turn-on on a failed oil pressure sender? reason im asking is because the gauge has been pegged for a week now with no ses light until this morning. i havent had the chance to read the code yet.
i got the sender from courtesy nissan and i'm ready to install it. is there anything i need to know before installing? do i have to drain the oil? disconnect battery? how tight should i put it in?
let me know if anyone needs pictures for future reference.
drove the wife's pathfinder tonight and noticed the oil gauge is stuck on high. when the car is off the gauge is all the way down. turn the key to on position and gauge is 3/4 up. any thoughts?
my ses is on and its a p0463 code. filled up the pf yesterday..gauge went to half. i started it this am and gauge is on full. will the ses light eventually go off by itself?
