My lines started leaking right after I bought my car. I rarely go to the stealership unless I have to and so I found a private shop to do it for about 800$ Since I just got the car I wanted it to work and I had budgeted for some initial work to be done on the car so it wasnt so bad.

It usually takes longer for the notices to get up to us here. I had the same experiance with my other car when TSBs started rolling out.

Since winter has started my driver window has been going up super slow. I am going to try lubbing it up and see what happens but if you find a write up on how to replace it I would appreciate seeing it as well.

Not sure if I want to remove the bypass even with this.

Hypothetical situation - you undo or never did the bypass and the rad starts to fail at the end of your warrenty. Then just after your warranty it dies and your left to front the bills for a new transmission.
