Re: 2006 pathfinder suspension

Any recommendations to fix this problem?
Sounds exactly like my ride. Love the SUV but the ride is HORRIBLE! Sounds like you need springs also.

Morrey Nissan, Vancouver

Not so happy with this service dept right now. Took my 2006 Pathfinder in for reg. servicing that included check-up of hoses, fluids et. I asked if the battery gets checked. Yes they say. Told them there was corrosion on a terminal and they told me"yup, that would be the cause of my weak batter...

Re: Rear Shocks options?

You say "Installing new springs actually sound pretty easy in the rear because no special tools are required". Do you know no special tools are required? The springs don't have to be compressed, thats a bounus. Have you done this upgrade? Anyone out there done this upgrade in thier garage?...

Thanks, your pre-mod explanition of the ride feel is exactly what mine feels like. Maybe I need springs and not shocks. Was you choice of springs based on price...

Re: Rear Shocks options?

I feel I need new rear shocks (even if the stealership gives them the thumb's up). Mushy, saggy (to my eye), and bottoms out on speed bumps. Mine came stock with POS Ranchos & I was bottoming out all the time. No shock is going to stop that from happening because it's caused by the really soft ...

Rear Shocks options?

OK, After much searching to no avail, I'm askin the collective. I feel I need new rear shocks (even if the stealership gives them the thumb's up). Mushy, saggy (to my eye), and bottoms out on speed bumps. What is a good replacement rear shock? And why? I don't mind a little harder ride, just sick of...

They are relatively inexpensive...about $17 each. I live in Canada,,, they will be about $90 each (LOL,,, no really, about $90 each). I just don't see how new one's will fix the problem. The hyrolic's are fine, just the connection to the car. The little sliders keep popping off due to the angle of ...

Rear window hydrolic lift failures

So, new to me 2006 Pathfinder. After one month i've got one really annoying problem. The rear window hydrolic lifts (the ones that keep the window up when open) keep popping off at the top (where they connect to the window at a little metal ball). They are designed with a slider to attach easily but...

Any problems with the hydrolic lifts for the rear window? Mine keep coming off. Real PITA.
