I'm not aware of the later models having the radiator/transmission cooler problems but they haven't been around as long. I guess only time will really tell. If your fuel filter is external to the tank I would replace that and see if that makes a difference. It's cheap and easy to do. I don't have any experience with older pathfinders but I do with older jeeps. My Jeep had a bent front drive shaft that was causing some major vibrations. Hope you get to the bottom of this without spending a fortune.

Dissappointing... That's not a Pathfinder. I like how the article describes the second gen pathfinder as a crossover. Maybe my definition of crossover is different, but unibody doesn't necessarily mean crossover. I thought "car-based" platform and FWD classify a vehicle as a crossover.
