Are considering making a batch of hoods or fenders or whatever if there is enough interest? Or are you just kicking around the idea of making some one-off carbon fiber parts for your truck? There's a lot of work to create molds and lay up the carbon fiber. Do you have experience working with carbon ...

Don't listen to that dealer. You definitely need to change those fluids. Check your owner's manual. Mine had a recommended service interval for diff and transfer case. I use Mobil 1 synthetic for longer intervals.

Neat, but not worth the trouble IMO. Usually when I change lanes I push the turn signal lever some but not enough for it to click into position. Then I just let go of the level and it goes back into position.

Just keep monitoring for any noises. I wouldn't worry about it too much if you don't hear anything abnormal. Since you described the noise as a squeal that seems to point to the serpentine belt, tensioner, or pulleys. When the timing chain shoes go bad, the noise is more of a whine. At least that's ...

Congrats on your purchase. Hope you are enjoying your pathfinder. Now to answer your question on the mpg guage. I usually reset the mpg guage every time I fill up and I have found it to be reasonably close to my actually mpg which I calculate based on miles traveled and gas consumed.

Don't know where you're located but that price seems a little high. I bought my 05 two years ago for $16k. It had 40k miles.

what size engine do you have and what mileage are you getting now? What type of driving do you typically do? The pathy is nearly a 2 1/2 ton body-on-frame SUV. Only so much can be done to improve mileage. I typically get 19 with mixed driving and 20-21 for all highway driving. I don't have any exper...

I don't think it's your tranny if your experiencing the vibration while in park.... I also noticed a vibration when I got my car back after having the secondary timing tensioners replaced. It was a loose harmonic balancer. The tech apparantly forgot to properly tighten it when putting everything bac...

I have an 05 that has had some problems. You can see the issues I've had below in my signature. I have bypassed the trans cooler in the radiator as a precaution. Despite these problems I still like my Pathfinder and don't regret getting one. Will I be replacing this with another Pathfinder? Probably...

Good Luck! I had the same issue but it was covered under warranty. 40k miles later and I think I may be having the same problem again. I would like to know if Nissan has fixed this obvious defect in the timing chain shoe/tensioner design or manufacturing process or if they continue to produce this i...
