From what I understand, is that the earlier repairs were done with non-updated parts.... therefore I'm sure they will eventually fail. The most recent parts have changed, if it's for the better I don't know. If you look at my pics then you can see and obvious difference in the chains outboard links,...

Any parts associated with the warranted part that are damaged are covered also, My wife's 2002 Altima had the catalytic converter go at 76,000 miles and the cat had been extended to 8 years warranty. When the cat came apart the motor started using 1qt. of oil every oil change. They replaced the cat ...

I'm bypassed and have no additional cooling and I often tow 4-5000 lbs, the fluid is holding up well with no hint of overheating. No problems here :D

Yeah, I assumed that because the light went out that it still stored the thrown code, I talked to the dealer and they want to charge $80 for this "official diagnosis" which will be refunded if Nissan fixes it. But if they don't I just spent $80 on a part I can get for $80 and do it myself ...

Buzz... that tilt down feature is slick on the Kenwood, I wish my Pioneer did that. It would be nice to have some kind of small shroud avaiable for these setups. BTW, what model Nuvi is that? I was thinking of buying the 765t for mine....

SES on & Fault code..... maybe not?

I just feel like ranting about this... I had the SES light come on a few weeks ago, I checked the code myself & it was for the fuel sending unit. So I cleared the code and called up Nissan Customer Care to fuss about how my Pathy has this problem but is not included in the recall. They said to t...

I know that when I did the bypass on mine, I didn't lose much S-matic, I caught every drop in a plastic cup and I lost exactly 4 ounces of it. That shouldn't be enough to matter considering the tranny/torque converter holds around 4 gallons/16 quarts/ 512 ounces. I went ahead and did a drain and fil...

For those extreme cooling needs..... http://www.designengineering.com/category/catalog/cryo2-system-components/cryo2-intercooler-sprayer-kit but seriously.... I feel a good fan wired to a relay with a thermostat would help the most during stop and go traffic, when forced air across the external cool...
