Lol yea absolutely horrible design. It took me 10 mins to get the second filter to slide in so it wasn't bunched up bending.

Well i think i found out the problem. I finally got around to checking the cabin filters and boy were they dirty. They were covered in dirt and had leaves and some other crap on top if them. Im gonna double check the molding around the windshield again once it stops raining. I was waxing the truck yesterday and noticed the molding that runs along the bottom corner of the windshield easily lifts up. there were leaves stuck in there and some other crap. Ill let you know what i find out.

From what i can tell the vents are closing as they should. Boy was that a pain. I checked all the moldings around the windshield. popped the hood checked to make sure everything was tight on that side.
