Well, it's day two, no luck. I've searched from inside all my 2 year old toys (in case she saw it and decided to put it some where that it shouldn't be) all the way to inside of the shop-vac, in all our strollers, jackets, jeans, shorts, pants and even under the hood believe it or not just in case I...

HELP! Lost spare key and fob unit...

Does the Key have a chip in it that requires the dealership to link up to the car for security purposes? I have an '06 LE I swear I have torn this mot%^$ fu$*@*% house apart looking for this key. Looks like I will have to buy new key and fob. If I buy a new fob on ebay, is there any trick to setting...

Awesome :D As a 3M employee, I thank you for buying our products! I work out of a different division but had a local shop apply our film to our '06 all the way around and have had no problems with it. Yes, a little bit more expensive, however, warrantly, durable, non color changing, non scratching, ...

That's an easy repair... This is what a body shop will do... 1) Try to pop out the indention 2) If does not pop out, apply heat with heat gun (will melt paint) and pop it out, then spray hot surface with water to cool it down and contract to a stiff formation back in it's original shape while using ...

Tell Nissan what you REALLY think here...

Worthiness for a "sticky"? I dunno but I thought IF Nissan was out there listening to the customer and is on this site, it would be a great subject for them to keep tabs on. Good or bad, they should know what we like and don't like since we are the customer. I guess I can start. The family...

Word is Nissan might be extending the warranty on our radiators due to all the complaints they have been seeing... Heard this from a Nissan Service Manager... No known time when this will come in to effect.

Check this out, everyone should read this and I just e-mailed this to my local Nissan Dealership. To address the reliability issue with Nissan's radiators in the R51 Pathfinder, I have found a solution I would like to move forward with. Radiator.com 1-800-248-8720 (Nathan x 215) has a replacement ra...

Tech- The point of this discussion is that most people would rather either fix the problem through the bypass solution or spend the $300 for the radiator fix because the consequences are a $6K trans bill from Nissan to replace the trans if the radiator breaks. $300 is an easy payment when you consid...

I was almost thinking of adding a secondary cooler. The thing is, my wife drives this car and I want it completely safe and with no worries. If I was driving it, I would know if something were to go wrong after any modification.

Who has the highest miles? Post miles & service history

I know it's not me ('06 w/ 53K)

Post your miles and service issues at each mileage point.

20K- Belt tensioner
40K- New tires (part of the deal with the purchase of the car)
40K- New Upper control arm (passenger side)
50K- New Fuel Sending sensor
50K- New battery

Radiator Replacement vs. Bypass

-I am one of the lucky ones, no coolant leak yet. ('06 w/ 53K) -After all the research I have done and calling around, seams as if doing the bypass only limits my towing capacity in the future. I haven't towed anything *yet, but do not want to be limited in the future by my modifications vs. what I ...

I spoke to my local Nissan dealership. My contact there is a real honest guy. I asked him about this problem, he says, "yeeaaaaah I've seen this... the correct Nissan protocol is to swap out the radiator for an abscene amount of money and flush the trans a few times and hope that it works but b...

I'm waiting on my wife to get home with the car. We have an '06 LE with rear hitch, I assume this means it came with the factory "tow package". Part of the tow package would be that it comes with an external trans cooler? I will be checking if it did or not come with a seperate cooler, but...

Anyone have any pics on how they added an extra cooler for the trans fluid?
