Runing board Led's

I am thinking of adding some led strips under the running board and wiring them to the dome lights in the car as to have them only light up as a courtesy light at night. What do you you think?

What Im doing

Hey for all of you looking to get a sub in the factory location. I just order this: http://tiny.cc/yyycj It is a Kenwood self-powered subwoofer it is only Dimensions: 14-1/2"W x 3-9/16"H x 8-7/8"D just to give a nice clean little bump. I plan on puting it in the stock sub location (I need the room)
