Thank-you for the link ill have a look later when I get home...... there is no noticeable loss off traction and tends to happen when parking or pulling out of a tight spot, however this could just be coincidence[/list]

A few days ago the esp off light and slippery road looking symbol came on.... when I turn the ignition on and off it goes out and may not come on again.for a few hours..... p.s can i just seal this gap with something??? some sort of clear glue....not sure what yet? or does this gap needed for movement and stuff ( sorry not really very good at stuff like this, just want to get it sorted before it rains again ( which happens to be all the time in bournemouth uk!!)

I have checked and it has 'Nissan ----- Saint gobar sekurity' ----*serial number*' stamp on it. ... however the seal from the black bit below the windscreen is not completely stuck to the windscreen, could this be the problem??? or is the main seal deeper down?
