Re: 'Loose Gas Cap' warning?

Anyone else experience this? Recently filled up my Pathfinder and when I look down at the tripometer I now see a scrolling text telling me 'loose gas cap.' Thought to myself, simple enough i'll just unscrew it and tighten it up until it clicks. Well, I've done this half a dozen times over the cours...

Re: Front end squeal

2005 Pathfinder 127,000 miles This month's problem with the money pit is a front end squeal. It seems to take a few miles to develop and once it starts is somewhat intermittent. It seems to occur less when turning to the left (even a slight left) Seems like it is coming from the right side but not ...

I just realized I was meaning the Kelly TSR's not the Signature. I like the look of the HTP's over the signature.

A lot of farmers around the Delta in MS have them and seem to love them. They look great and I was thinking of putting them on the Path. 700 seems like a good deal for them. Post pics if you pull the trigger.

Insurance company here (public insurance) gives us the 'option' of paintless dent removal for hail damage that hasn't broken the paint. I'm on the fence on this one, but since they give you the option, I'm OK with it. But going the PDR route will definitely reduce the cost of the claim, and possibl...

I figured with the huge price swing in the 2 something was off. I appreciate the responses. I'm still waiting on the adjuster to appraise it before I take it to the body shop. I was about to buy new tires so I'm glad I waited on that purchase if it is totaled.

Hail Damage

Beginning of this week my 05 Path was pounded by hail luckily did not shatter any glass but there are significant dents on the hood, roof, front fenders, and possibly along the tops of the doors. They don't appear to have cracked the paint. She has 109000. KBB estimates value at $9900 and NADA $12,9...

Re: How to clean the throttle Body?

So I'm guessing my throttle body is the thing causing my idle problems engine stalls and limp modes. I have a european 2.5L DCI engine. But I can't really locate the throttle body. I MIGHT have found it but it is really hard to get to in the engine compartment. How can I know for sure this is actua...

285s look great on this vehicle. Ditto on the question about rub issues-have you noticed any? I assume you are running HIDs in your projector housings? Did you hook up those 3 LED lights, or leave them disconnected? I've had mine hooked up, but I keep thinking they look too cheesy when I see them f...

Just replaced mine on a 05 SE with the McMaster-Carr 9416K149 225 force. Love the way it opens by itself now after opening it partially. I'm going to have to get used to using some force to close it though.
