I had this same issue with a brand new (at the time) 06 pathfinder se. i took it in to nissan 5 times before they told me finally they were going to have to have an engineer come out and look at it. i promptly traded the vehicle in.

I used to work as an Aircraft Mechanic and have had the exact same thing happen to me. Except we had 24 aircraft and it was not an enjoyable day for me.

i don't think Nissan has ever marketed an OEM brush guard for the R51s (at least not in the U.S.) yeah, i bought a brand new 06 pathfinder and purchased the brushguard from the dealer as an oem accessory and installed and covered under warranty. here is a (bad) picture of my 06 with the brushguard....

sounds weird. Your Check Engine light isn't on? Sounds like a timing or ignition issue based on the symptoms. Or if your Catalytic converters are plugged, that could be an issue. But that would most likely cause a Check Engine Light. t thats correct no CEL. I'm going to goof around tomorrow and see...

I've been having an acceleration issue lately, while accelerating under normal conditions (not aggressively) when I reach about 35mph the truck starts accelerating MUCH slower I have to give it a significant amount of gas to get it to accelerate up to about 45mph at 45mph normal acceleration resumes...
