Replacement transmission came with a replacement radiator and Nissan fluid plus a 36 month warranty. While a manual transmission will require maintenance, it's a lot less electronics intensive and doesn't require cooling, I don't mind shifting either, my 240 has a close ratio 5-speed that's a blast ...

Same problem, new plugs, camshaft position sensor and a cleaning of the intake system makes me wonder if I should replace the crank position sensor?

I have the same problem. Replaced plugs and the #2 cam position sensor plus a clean of the intake system and still have the same problem. Just finished a transmission replacement which I was hoping would fix the idle problem. Mechanic reset the idle so I'm wondering if it's a crank position sensor.....

Bought new in 2005, (SE-Off Road). Kept thinking to myself "there but for the grace of God go I" when I read about transmission problems. Transmission started hard shifting into 2nd, would hesitate under load and vibrate. Took it to a dealer strictly to replace the fluid, didn't tell them ...
