All plug and play for me as well. It was already wired for the brake controller, just need to add the 7-pin and mount it to the tow bar.

Backlight Flash in A/C Display

I have noticed over the past few months the backlight in the display for the auto a/c controls flashes periodically. Anybody else ever see this? Think I need to replace the panel?

When I filled it, the fluid started to drip out of the fill hole so I stopped and put the cap back on. I will go back and check the fluid to see if maybe it needs a bit more.

Rear whine after fluid change

I changed the fluid with Advance Auto 75w-90 synthetic fluid, putting almost two bottles in the diff. Has 78,500 miles on it. At lower speed I am hearing a whine from the rear now. Should I have used a thicker fluid? It has the diff cover with fins on it, so is that an offroad diff? How can I tell f...

Runs hot at idle

I have noticed that if I idle for a long period of time the temp gauge shoots up and cuts off a/c and close to stalling. It did stall on me a few months ago and was a bear to restart. That was in the evening while waiting for a car wash. If I am sitting at a traffic light, it doesn't seem to do that...

Steering Shake and Dart Solution?

So I have seen a lot of posts for these same issues, but I get the end of most of them with no conclusion. Lots of, look at this look at that, but doesn't seem to be, hey this is what fixed my issue. I am having the same as a lot of people with the steering wheel shake and when I hit a bump the whee...

I started to repair it the other day, but just ran out of time. I am put some JB Weld in the screw holes to see if they will hold. I will get back to it this weekend. I hate not using the glass also.

I just did a brake change and used the Akebono ACT1094 ProACT pads on Reybestos Rotors. All went on very easy, no break in on the pads. Been driving for about a week and nice and smooth, no issues.

I tow a 19ft center console SeaPro boat. No issues at all, tows well. Have the air bags and brake controller. I have a 33 Ford Hotrod that wieghs in at about 2300, but haven't towed that yet. SHouldn't be a problem.

My Hinges on the window have completely failed. I attribute this to the pressure placed on the hinges by the struts. The screw stripped out of both hinges. Perhaps this could be the cause of the water lead as well. I haven't replaced the hinges yet, they are like $45 each. I just took the struts off...

UPDATE:

Nissan came through and fixed the Pathy. Awesome, sounds and runs like new. Very Happy.

Call Nissan America if you have an issue. Great to deal with and the local dealership even gave me a loaner on both days with no charge.

They fixed that no problem, just waiting for the call back to tell me they aren't going to do anything for timing chain.

I may do the repair myself, know where I can get the tools?

I wasn't aware that was a recall, thanks. Got a call back from Nissan and was asked numerous times if this is my first Nissan. They are looking for customer loyalty. I guess if I had a fleet of Nissans this wouldn't be an issue. They are calling back by Friday with their decision.
