Mine is the Fuel Relay Sensor. You're fortunate to have it under warranty. I called 3k miles after the warranty expired. I just bought the vehicle and the first fill up the light came on. Found out it was that. Called and they "studied my case" and found that I'm past the extended warranty...
I agree with you NVSteve. I have a family, house, full time job. I don't have the money or desire to spend the time to make it worth spending the money on major mods to go up a mountain side. I just like the comfort knowing that if I did want to go in the woods I could. The wifey wants to wait until...
Richard, I know what you're talking about. The first time I went off roading (I was the passenger) in my buddy's Rover the pucker factor was way up from some of the stuff that thing was able to do. So I will agree with you that most folks don't perhaps want to push their vehicle to the limits and te...
Thanks for the input. To be honest I wasn't bashing the 'finder. I'm not really doubting that it's capable, it's just that all the posts I've seen with pictures of off roading on the forum here have been pretty mediocre when compared to what I've seen on other forums under the off road adventures ca...
I am very happy with my 07 'finder and I'm not into off roading on such a scale as I used to be (Or I would have bought a 4Runner, Land Cruiser or Land Rover). But, it seems like the R51 is not designed to do any real off roading. Just after looking at many pages of posts regarding mudding and off r...
Alisojh is right about getting a car fax. If you know that the service was done at the same dealer you're taking it to, yes they will have the history, but a Carfax is the best way to got. It had all 17 or 18 maintenance intervals on it. It all matched the papers in the glove compartment.
I bought the finder for the 3rd row seat, so taking it out isnt an option for us, but i still want to install subs.
Anyone ever try installing one in either of the rear quarter panels, where the cargo net/storage area is?
Ok... I just wanted to recant my last post in this thread and state that I AM... AN IDIOT. I commit a thousand apologies. I SWORE I saw a Check Engine light the other day. I know I did. Oh well. Anyway... What is it with the Cats needing replaced so often? Is it just crappy OEM stuff and the replace...
Hi all, I used to be a big Toyota nut, I had a 95 4runner and loved it, got rid of it. Now I have the 07 'finder. I was curious, over seas, is there an equivilant in Nissan for the Toyota Land Cruiser? I figure that the Pathfinder and 4Runner are cousins. I wouldn't think the Armada would be conside...
The Service Engine Soon light is different than the Check Engine light. My first forae into the two lights was with my 05 Corolla. The Maint Req light would blink a few times on start up and then go out then it stayed on. It's the oil change or the interval for a required maintenance item (spark plu...
Very nicely done. I see you're in what looks to be about a foot and a half of snow. Have you messed with any of the innards yet or is the engine stock? You said Deisel right?
Hi, Just bought my 07 and everything at the mechanics checked out. Wife told me today while going around to get into the side and thought she smelled rotten eggs. Not a big wiff, but definitely could smell it. I went around back and smelled it as well, but I had to get down and do the "cupping&...
Just got my 07 'finder yesterday, newest vehicle we've had and 2nd 4x4 we've owned. Drove a 4cyl 01 Camry for the past 5 years. I've become kinda a gear head/self mechanic (accept for major stuff) since the 4 runner.
