Actually not referring to the sun visor. I am referring to the part that is listed as Garnish-Roof Center, Side LH & RH.
Parts diagram lists them as 73942N and 73943N. Which is funny because the part around the ceiling light also gets listed with the same number as the RH side roof panel.

I've been through 2 starter replacements on mine. Both times it started with an intermittent start.

The other issue I've run into is an intermittent issue with the contacts in the ignition switch, but I've never ended up with the relay being the issue.

The starter tends to get oil dripping onto it ...

I'm sure that everyone experiences that same issue of covering coming off the headliner pieces (that are on either side of the overhead light).

It looks like those pieces aren't in stock anywhere (understandably), but when they were available, what was the cost on them (retail)? And what is fair ...

I've finally finished my engine swap and gotten my beloved Pathfinder back on the road.

In the meantime I had bought another one of the same year to use as a daily driver that had fewer miles on it. Some things are in better shape on one or the other so I'm parts swapping to the one I want to keep ...

As Ethan says, that can be a steering column switch problem. Sometimes you can blow the dust out to fix it, other times the contacts are corroded and you either have to disassemble and rebuild the switch or you have to replace it.

Now that the rebuild work is all done, I'm working in getting the engine back into place.

After much use of select vocabulary and hours of alternating between standing on my head and rolling around under the truck, I've managed to get the transmission bolted back to the VG30E

So I wasn't lucky enough to get all the cap screws out cleanly. Chewed the mess out of a handful of the heads getting them out.

The replacement screws from Nissan are a few days out an expensive. Do you think I can just use stainless steel hex caps from the local hardware store? Or do I need to ...

Is it just me, or is the o-ring for the oil pickup tube look way smaller than the groove. Everything is telling me I have the right part, but it doesn't look like it's the right size.

Also is there supposed to be a gasket in addition to the o-ring? I

Managed to get those screws loose with a bit of hammer work.

Although on some of the caps I was only able to get one side loose so I figured that I'd rotate the whole cap in order to loosen the screw. It worked but busted the crap out of the injectors. :shock:

Anyone have suggestions on getting the screws loose that hold the metal caps over the fuel injectors?

I have no idea why those aren't bolt heads instead of phillips but they are stuck dang good. I am hoping to avoid the dremel solution but WD-40 and brute force don't seem to be cutting it.

No dice at the local dealer. To get that part you apparently have to order the entire lock...

So if anyone out there has a part they are parting out and wants to part with their locks and the little mechanism with the magnet on it, then let me know.
