2006 just replaced in July 09, stock battery was probably about four years old. I had one warning of weakness that I foolishly ignored about a week before it was dead.

I run 89 octane here in Birmingham, AL. Was getting 16 mpg more or less in town until the mandate to ethanol mix and now get 15ish in town. Just took a trip to the beach, first half ethanol mix got 19.5 mpg. Second half found some 100% gasoline and got just over 20mpg on the ride back home. Both tan...

Steering wheel cover

So the steering wheel of my 2006 Pathy is now flaking off the thin layer of tan "leather" at the 12 o'clock position. I've done a little looking around and came across the Wheelskins replacement leather covers. Anyone tried one? Did it install over the factory stitched cover or did you rem...

After taking my 06 in this morning at just over 30k, I decided not to buy the "dealer recommended" service (something smelled rotten in Denmark comparing their list to what I recalled from the manual). What a pile of BS!

That's quite similar to what I have experienced.

Oil Fill Amount

So the owners manual says 5 3/8 quarts is the correct amount to fill with a new oil filter. Question is exactly how much of that 6th quart ends up going in at the oil change...3/8, 1/5, 3/4? Did the service tech "pocket" over half of my $5.79 a quart of Mobil 1? The Toyota dealer always re...

Yes, that is better than what we get with the V6 gas burner...

In terms of US miles per gallon economy measurements your diesel is turning in 24-26 mpg versus 15-20 mpg for unleaded petrol on my V6.

There a neat conversion here http://www.sciencemadesimple.net/fuel_economy.php

Nice Turbo Diesel. I am curious, what's the fuel economy like with the diesel. We have V6 petrol as the only powerplant option in the US.

No scrolling on XM stations, just your choice of station number, station name, or artist IIRC. FM stations that broadcast with a digital signal can do a little more. The FM station name or the song/artist will display or scroll, but that is the broadcaster's choice.

XM is all built in the dash. Controls in dash or left thumb on the steering wheel. The information display is rather limited (nothing like the XM aftermarket units) and you can select four different displays. I have been disappointed with the sound quality of XM. I am not sure if you can run both XM...

There appears to be a bad link in this line: TheNissanPath.com Forum Index -> Comments & Suggestions

When I navigate back using the TheNissanPath.com Forum Index link I get the "The page cannot be found" 404error.

Cheers from the 'Ham...

I picked up my Silver 2006 SE Premium Pkg on July 21, 2006 and have been quite pleased. After 1100 miles I found this informative forum. This forum's software is a step above the other automotive forums I've read over the course of my brief purchase research back in mid July.
