Thanks! But it's an 02, and the exact name of the color I do not know. But it's not black. It's like a burgandy, maroon, dark red color.

some will argue yes, but no not really. I only know what I know through LOTS of trial and error. Basically the brighter the bulb as far as watts, it's not good for your wiring and could possibly melt the stuff. The bulbs that are whiter (not HID) have a coating over it to filter out yellow light. Th...

See, I'm not sure it's even that simple. We have a 2011 camry with projectors and no HID and the light is good I think. My sister talked about how much better her acadia is at night compared to her other car. And the other day I was driving my grandparents car and they have a 2012 Lincoln MKX. Now t...

projector headlights NOT HID

What is the point of this? If the company is going to bother putting in projector headlights, why not throw in the HID light to go with it? It's not like it would be hard to do. And I don't even understand the point of it. I've driven plenty of cars that have projectors without HID's. Acadia, Camry,...

well it was the exhaust. They said it had broken off (I don't remember if they specified the exact spot). Anyway.... they did something very surprising. They said it was going to be a 2.5 hour in labor fix. and rought $1000.00 in parts. And before I could poop my pants, they said that they were goin...

ha well I know that. I just thought maybe it could be narrowed down more. I did check the spare tire and bumper as soon as I got home after hearing the noise the first time. Those are good. It's actually scheduled for some maintenance stuff today and to fix another issue I'm having with it. I was ju...

clunk clunk

Brand new noise! Whenever I make a right turn, I hear a clunk noise in the rear. The number of clunks varies, and doesn't seem to have a any correlation with speed or sharpness of the turn...EXCEPT that it must be an actual turn. Not sure to any real exact degrees, but a curve doesn't do it (or I ha...

Small evaporative leak

So I have a 2002 LE. Several months ago the check engine light came on, so I ran up to an autozone like auto parts store that a friend works at and had her scan it for me. It came up as a small evaporative leak. She said this is almost always the gas cap being on wrong. So I unscrewed and put the ca...

I bought an HID kit from carid last spring. The company is great, but the kit wasn't going to work without splicing some wires. After many long talks with the tech department, that's what they came up with as being the issue. They said that Toyota tundra's (I think it was tundra, could be wrong) has...

I know this is an old thread....BUT... I've read this before and it all "makes sense". I certainly don't have the ability or desire to test this. But how is it that many car manufacturers at one point used HID lighting in regular housing (not projectors). Cadillac, lincoln, Toyota, mercury...

SE is Sport edition. LE is Lux edition. all have same engines and most options. the Xe is the lesser of all as it is parred down. the trim is gonna be the biggest differences and maybe the electronics like stereo and possibly a sunroof or something. oh and color choices and wheels. My fav of all th...

Ok. I really have no idea how they packaged things. I have an LE and the only thing in it that seems like it would be an inconvenience is the Auto 4wd system. Everything else seems to be the same. I have the fake wood grain too. Maybe that's part of the LE package too? P.S. Love the Norman Maclean q...

I think the only difference between the two that is you can only get in the LE and is not an option in SE is the way you engage 4WD. LE has "switch on the fly" with auto mode. So you can have it in regular 2wd, set it to auto so that it senses wheel slip and engages 4WD for you, and also h...

Oh I had my brother, (a Sherriff) clock me in his HCSO cruiser and my speedo is not off more than like 2 mph. I thought it would be more, but it's not. I found a calculator online that tells you the difference in speed based on original tire size and what ever the new is and it took a huge differen...
