I opted to replace the radiator in favor of doing the bypass based on my feeling that the "radiator portion" does have some heating as well as cooling benefit. Most are simply doing the bypass. Both are good options and will likely solve future issues. If you want a guarantee that no futur...

Need Bilstein Part#'s

Need help with correct Bilstein Part #'s for front and rear 5100 adj. shocks on a 2007 4wd SE. I did many searches prior to resorting to a new thread but could not find anything for a 4WD. Many have posted the BE5-E653-HO as the correct # for the front but my local shop told me that they are only fo...

interior trim removal

Anyone know how to remove the trim piece surrounding the climate control and radio on a 2007 w/Bose system?? It looks like it's apart of a much bigger piece that would be tough to remove. Need help??

Somber Goat, Forgot to ask about the color of the old fluid? You might want to post a pic of the old fluid in a clear container or put a few drops onto some white paper next to a drop of "new" and post that. I'm sure someone will have input on the condition of the fluid. Mine actually came...

Yes, That was my feeling after much research on the "power flush vs drain method". I've done the "tranny cooler line drain" method I decribed many times over the years and have never had a single issue. The added pressure of the "flush" method has it's share of "na...

Wow, Great write up and pics. What was the indication that the clutch was not working properly in your case?

That's a tough one for sure... I would move forward with a complete drain and refill of your transmission fluid since your at 84K miles. I would take out all 12 quarts by removing the tranny line going into your radiator and place into a large one gallon container. Milk jug works great and you can e...

Help with Catalytic Converters?

Just bought a 2007 with 73K. I've gone through it (New radiator, all fluids)except for the Cat's. Not getting any codes yet but was considering changing them to avoid any issues. It's a California car first off and I have the following questions. How many cats are there? I've heard both 2 and 4. If ...

For the original poster and your radiator issues. I just replaced mine on a 2007 pathfinder, (@73K miles and also a 2006 Titan 72K miles) at the same time. It's a simple job and a ("KOYO" Lifetime warranty radiator) can be purchased for $200. PM me and I'll give you the rundown on doing th...
