So what are the popular tire choices these days?

My 2012 with 17's needs new sneakers... What's been some of the most popular bang-for-the-buck choices these days? I do a lot of commuting but honestly wouldn't mind a "poser" A/T tire. Currently 265/65/17... thinking about stepping up to a 70 sidewall. And also note that I tow a fairly he...

Bumpidy bump! Glad I stopped by this place, I haven't been here in a lonnnggg time. Noticed that my driver's side fog took a heck of a rock or something cuz the whole outer lens and bulb were busted... came here a couple weeks ago looking for upgrades & found this. I'm digging the idea! Fast for...

Crisis averted! Did a little more googling & found a procedure for resetting the light. Ignition "on" until the light starts blinking, then ignition immediately off. Wait a second or two... Ignition "on" until the light starts blinking, then ignition immediately off. Wait a s...

Blinking airbag light... think I know why but can't solve it

Hi all, So... 2012 Pathfinder, blinking airbag light... it started after I tried jamming a safe under the seat. There are three connectors that reside under the seat on the left side near the seat controls (up down forward back, etc). The big white connector seems to supply power. The yellow connect...

Cool, thanks for the confirmation. Spoke with someone in the local dealership parts department who told me the same and I now have the parts on order... The harness you mentioned, plus the pigtail & relay to enable trailer brakes, all to the tune of $131... (grumble grumble). Anyone need ...

2012 7 pin trailer harness?

Hi all, Just found out, the day that I was going to tow my trailer to an event, that the 7 pin harness I purchased for my 2005 Pathfinder does NOT work in my new-to-me 2012 pathfinder. Great. Luckily it won't totally end my fun, but I absolutely NEED to get this solved before Friday. So... three que...

Yeah I had some overheating issues (not related to the transmission crossover) that I think caused it... I didn't think it got hot enough to warp or crack the head, but it may have done just that. Honestly, I kinda wish the shop said it was going to cost 4k or more, because then it would have been a...

Definitely not doing this one myself. I did my timing chains myself last year. The job took me a week and a half to complete because I ran into issues every single step along the way. I almost burned the thing to the ground multiple times. lol. Anyway, the shop just called back and quoted me $2k, as...

Blown Head Gasket... opinions on my options

2005 V6 210k miles I own outright Just did timing chains myself last summer, now it has a blown headgasket. Just got a call from the shop. They were calling to tell me that the original estimate they gave me was too low and they need to do some math to recalculate. They didn't realize they will have...

Yeah, I have a feeling it may have been a dropped tool, but then again, the crimp along the bottom seam looked like it was getting loose. Either way, after 186k miles, it was probably time for it to get replaced anyway. Anyway... She's all buttoned up, holding temp & holding water! Only took a c...

First my timing chains... now my radiator

Did my timing chains last week (what a nightmare)... now that it's all back together, I have a leaky radiator. :x I'm wondering if it wasn't caused by a dropped tool or two during last weeks torture job. :? Whelp, whatever the cause, it was leaking like a bastard so I just picked up a replacement fr...

Ah yeah, I'm not sure if you can rotate the fan in a way that lets you get that bolt out or not... don't think you can. Been a while since I tried it that way.
