Don't recall. I bought the tubing from our local B&Q. Where abouts are you? I ask as I've sold the Path finder earlier this year so the Rack is available for sale if you are interested. Would need collecting and needs a repaint. Otherwise it's as the video. I also made some roof bars for my larg...

Hi there. The roof rack bars will allow you to get creative. I made my own tray, there is a clip here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkxAYcmaex4 It might motivate you to have a go yourself. I need to modify mine a little as I've bought an open canoe which is a little too wide for the current set up.

I've used EBC green stuff pads and disks on the front of my 2008 for a few years now (since the video below was produced). I've had no issues at all and absolutely minimal dust on the wheel rims. A massive improvement over the previous pads. I did run it in to the shop and have the rear discs and pa...

I don't pop in all that often but would add I've been very impressed with the EBC green stuff pads. They are designed such that you don't end up with horrid black pad dust all over your rims. 12 months and I can hardly notice any brake dust at wash time where as prior to the change the OEM Nissan Pa...

I've known similar issues on 2003 onwards Range rovers, on them it is the final stage resistor which has a huge heat sink type think attached to it. I presume it somehow senses the temp from the AC systems. My Pathy did this once, I switched off and restarted the car and it cleared it's self. I put ...

How do, I'm over in Staffs. I pop in now and again :D Theres a reason theres not many posts about the diesels... they just keep on running :) Only issue I had with mine in the past now I've tempted fate is stalling after a startup. Turned out the dealers I got it from didn't bleed the fuel filter......

Sorry guys for not replying sooner, yes the inner side did seem worse. I can't think of a logical reason for this.. maybe the crud doesn't wash off so easily and becomes a grinding paste. The pads have a channel in the centre which I presume is to assist debris to self clean.. once that becomes bloc...

I have the same unit in my 08 Mammouth - yours sound a similar spec with the reverse camera.

What does it do on the screen? I.e. what exactly isn't it doing? Have the fuses been checked?

If you press load what comes up on the screen assuming the fuses are OK?

I've made a short video which gives a closer look and a little more description as to how I went about the build. Also revealed I need to get the paint out again :)

Cheers Guys! Yep it was nice to get out an about.. in fact I'm going to make a rule of collecting ebay items from scenic places from now on :D The rims come as stock as you say, they are very pleasing on the eye! I did consider just buying new tyres and wheels but didn't want to go any bigger and sp...

190 USD or 125 ukp, but I had the galv mesh already which had been in the garden behind the shed gathering dust.

Thanks guys :D I'd probably not push it more than 75kg.. it may be up to more. It uses all the bolt holes on the rails.. so I guess it'll be up to what every the rails can officially cope with. I've been prompted to build it as during our 2 week vacation we will be taking the dogs this year, so I ha...
