I guess the point I'm trying to make is that there are differences between the V6 & V8 other than just engines that affect the towing. You would have to agree with that! Just look at the specs of the two transmissions. They may have the same factory code but they are geared different and this w...

Your main factors are power to weight, axle ratio, and brakes. the v8 and v6 have the same trans (slightly diff ratios), same drive shaft, and same rear diff assembly (slightly diff ratios). which leads me to believe the additional 50 hp 100lb/ft torque are the difference. In all the specs i have re...

I installed my set last week and have put about 500 mi on them. All i have to say is everyone was 100% right about the difference it makes even when not loaded. Thanks to everyone on this forum who has put input in about this mod, it is worth 10 times as much as i paid for the springs.

I will be installing my set today :-) hopefully have some pics later, eventually i want to install an air tank (maybe 1-2gal) with a compressor style regulator. that way i just put 125psi in the tank and the regulator will keep the bags at what ever psi i set it at. there for eliminating the need fo...

I would not settle for anything less then a flush. just a drain and fill will get about 50% of the fluid out. so the 50% old will contaminate the new if everything is not replaced.

Another radiator failure

Not mine, but at the shop I manage we just had an 06' come in with a failed radiator. thanks to this site I was able to go right to the source of the problem. Nissan is now going to pick up the vehicle and complete the repair (including replace the transmission)

thanks for the help!

Amsoil full synthetic signature series. I change it every 5k (could go 7500-10k but oil is cheaper then an engine ;))

I can concur, see that a lot from northern vehicles, although 9 times out of 10 it starts to get bad because of the caliper slid pins getting stuck. so make sure you have them lubed real good ;-)

there are external bump stops that it will hit before the internal bump stop is reached. so it is possible that you are blowing through the shock travel and hitting rubber bump stop on frame.
