intermediate exhaust pipe

looks like there is a hole in my intermediate exhaust pipe, and i would like to replace it. 1) the pipe in question is underneath the drive side. would i be correct to assume that its passenger-side counterpart exists as well? if so, how can i make sure i purchase the correct one? 2) how much do man...

Re: locked out with dead battery

tried both keys, and neither did the trick. i am able to rotate them in the clockwise direction, which i recall is the unlock position, yet the doors stays locked. interesting point: i am not able to rotate it counterclockwise. should that be the case? sorry for being annoying, but i am literally gr...

Re: rpm drops for less than second when in 4x4/snow

thank you once again for a detailed response. i have replaced the crankshaft and both camshaft position sensors about four years ago, so i doubt those are the culprits. the error codes for either of those sensors did not appear on the scan until i replaced the entire ipdm from the factory original r...

rpm drops for less than second when in 4x4/snow

when driving in the snow in 4x4 mode, i have experienced the rpms drop for just a fraction of a second, then bounce right back to original level regardless of the speed. this occurs as rare as once every few mins to as often as several times within a minute. i do not recall this happening during the...

Re: front bumper cover compatibility

after days and dozens of response-less views, its smj to the rescue...again!!! what would i do without you?!!! my 2005 pathy is past 250K miles, so i am only looking for function only at thing point. so terms like "oem" and "painted" are completely ignored when it comes to someth...

front bumper cover compatibility

looking for a front bumper cover for my 2005 pathfinder and would like to know whether it is compatible among all years within the r51 generation? from little i know, there are slight body differences between earlier and later years in r51. does that matter when it comes specifically to front bumper...

seafoam high mileage

has anyone used the "high mileage" version of seafoam? my plan is to just stick to the gas tank only, and not do anything else. any drawback to it vs the regular version?

its interesting that you brought up the idea of driving with a fuel pressure gauge installed. i floated that idea to my mechanic who is really good and trustworthy. and unlike most places, he lets me buy parts on my own and then only charges me for service. but even he declined to install a gauge th...

good info!
so if my fuel pump passes the pressure test, does that mean that its fully functional, or is there still a chance that its faulty? if latter is the case, what other test(s) should i perform in order to rule out the pump as the cause for my aforementioned stall?

The only ball joints I ever use are Moog. They've been around for years and are usually improved designs over stock and I've never had any problems with them regardless of what vehicle I've installed them in. Now, that said, Nissan doesn't offer ball joints for these control arms as they don't reco...

mechanic unable to test fuel pump

2005 SE 4x4 quick background, my pathy died in the middle of the interstate and was idling very rough while on the side of the road. and every time i would press a gas pedal, it would die immediately. had it towed to a local mechanic. they witnessed rough idling, but it went away immediately once th...
