hi all -
another question from a new owner of a 98 le.
the default is overdrive on: does shutting it off
get the car better mileage? what are other reasons
to shift out of default mode?

i am a new owner of a 1998 pathfinder LE (2 wheel drive). i have 2 questions that concern me:

i have a low thump that happens when braking about 1/3 of the time. it feels like a late heavy downshift right before i come to a stop when i am going a little faster. any thoughts on that ...
