rragpaoa for the rear travel did you have to disconnect your sway bars? My order going through next week... I'm going to go with standard emulsion 2.5 / 2.0 upfront. Should I get Eibach rear coils while I'm at it or OME? Local agent wants to give me stock length shocks...reckons I'll get ...

Well, it's a little place called Sloan Canyon off of Dehesa road going from El Cajon to Harbison Canyon (torwards Sycuan reservation). Good place to test stuff out.

It's pretty easy to access. Just remove the stock resonator at the throttle body and you can get in there and clean it. Mine was pretty dirty. I had to open the butterfly valve and spray it with some throttle body cleaner. I had to use my finger and rub some of the dirtier areas. Once your done you...

Re: 2008 Pathfinder, wet pasenger floor also an idling quest

Ok this may have been posted already as I am new to the site, I have a 2008 Pathfinder and when i run the AC i get a wet/damp passenger floor/carpet. Could this be the drain hose leaking? Also when sitting at idle, the vehicle shakes to the point where it is going to stall, never stalled but it has...

Nice to see you making another guest appearance, rragpaoa! Ha, good one. I feel privileged 8) In terms of wheel travel, the shock travel does not equal travel at the wheel due to the geometry of the system, also called Motion Ratio (the distance the shock travels per 1" of wheel travel), i.e. ...

I wanted to SAS my rear as well. Still thinking about it. If so, I was going to go with Currie Enterprises since they are making a rear axle for the Titan and Xterra/Frontier. See here: http://www.titantalk.com/forums/titan-engine-transmission-drivetrain/112092-currie-ent-titan-replacement-rear-end....

Looks really good. A rear tire bumper is on my list too since I have scraped mine quite a few times on the trails.

Looking forward to seeing the completed project.

I actually do have the front extended 2.5 shocks with the aftermarket UCA (PRG Products). With this, I get 8" upfront (look at the first pages) Go with the Radflo springs (made by Eibach). As a matter of fact, they are made to work together, and won't sell you a new set without thier springs. I...

Thanks for the input. I haven't really tested the Auto mode in all gravel roads. I've tested in deep sand and snow, and it seems to really kick in quickly on my end. Time to look for some gravel roads to check it out ... Yeehaa! I know we have a variant of the Skyline GTR system, but maybe the ECU i...

I have the LE 4x4 which comes with the multi-mode 4WD. Besides the usual 4Hi/4Lo center lock, the AWD mode is simply amazing, in my book at least. Based on what my local Nissan mechanic, this drivetrain is derived from the Skyline GTR called ATTESA-ETA-Pro version which had an exceptional AWD system...

Be careful that the filter will not RESTRICT the flow of the fluids to and from the tran cooler. The rate of flow may be necessary to keep things cool. My recommendation is to just make sure you change the tranny oil on schedule (more if you off raod or tow) and you should be fine without the extra ...
