Last April I sold my 99 Infiniti QX4 3.3 for $3000 even. It had 239,000 miles and was in really good condition. It like 5 months to sell it but it just takes the right buyer. They (the cars) are everywhere. You have your choice of the litter.

A slipping trans will not leave you stranded in the middle of the road. the failure doesn't happen that way. even in a worst case scenario you would notice the slip long before you were doin 80 in said hwy traffic and (hopefully) not make the decision to pull out on to a high speed hwy with no power...

yes they will. mechanically. as in bolts and fit. You may have to rewire the lights though, as the bulb locations/order may be different. (ie turn signals on top, vs. middle or reverse, or whatever.) I installed Infiniti QX4 lamps on my 99.5 and they are even better in my opinion as they are clear a...

If you do anything over normal usage like box hauling, groceries, tools, toys personal gear... then yes. Like a single jetski no. a midsize boat yes. a box trailer yes. These cars are really not workhorses by design. They definitely can handle some work but not on the level that the original R50's w...

As a dealership technician for 11 yrs and Master Certified and a team leader of 5 techs I take offense to certain previous comments. There are idiots in every field of employment. I've had 3 guys that I did not recommend for further advancement in my shop due to their, umm, inadequacies. I, myself l...

no prob. The official statement from Nissan literature that I have read is that there is a reserve in the tank of like 1.8 gallons when the fuel lamp comes on. I can tell you that the needle in my wife's Qx4 is higher on the gauge when the fuel light comes on than my needle is on my path yet she can...

SE is Sport edition. LE is Lux edition. all have same engines and most options. the Xe is the lesser of all as it is parred down. the trim is gonna be the biggest differences and maybe the electronics like stereo and possibly a sunroof or something. oh and color choices and wheels. My fav of all the...

Oh man been there my friend. Short answer: yes and no. long answer: how much or the Q do you have? The bumper requires the fenders the fenders require the headlamps the lamps require the grill and the grill requires the hood. the fenders also have the larger flares which blend with the running board...

There is def no chip tuning for the 3.3 as it has timing adjustment but no cam timing adjustment so there is no ability for the ECM to be performance tuned. you could swap to an electric fan and ditch the Viscous coupled fan.(parasitic loss of HP) lighter pulleys if you could find them (prob not) an...

Everyone needs to remember that Ethanol is killing all our mileages. It consumes more energy to use than it returns. It is just the way of our nations energy issues. I keep an eye on my mileage but honestly if It mattered that much I'd drive a Civic or a CBR1000. I fill it when it's empty and drive ...

I calculate the miles traveled and the total gallons put in to full tank. so say I put in 16.67 gallons and I traveled 285 miles using trip odo reset at last fillup... That would be 17.09658068386323 miles roughly. I usually can go 38 miles safely with the low fuel light on and I've only broken into...

When i get a customers car that has a weak history of service, I take the VIN and call the dealers in the area and give it to them saying I'm a family member who is taking care of the vehicle for a extended time and if they have any records that indicate if it has need services due now. Since you wo...
