Re: Advice needed please

Well guys our pathfinder is gone, I was on the fence about purchasing a Kia for some reason but we bought one. About 10 tears ago I helped my single parent daughter by a Kia sophia (I think), the car had a lot of miles but it was within her price range. She drove that thing day and night and added a...

Re: Advice needed please

Thanks for all the replies, I think we are steering away from the pathfinder after what I've read here and searching the internet. She really loves her 06 and yes the cats are cheaper to replace than buying another car, but that doesn't slow the rust any. We have discussed fixing the cats and just r...

Re: Advice needed please

thanks grumpa, I don't take much stock in any used car dealer, this was just the salesman that I talked with, the owner is the one making the decision, but I was confused with that decision as it just didn't make any sense to me . When I made this post yesterday I had not done any research on these ...

Advice needed please

So my wife has owned an 06 pathfinder for at least 10 years, when we first purchased it I came on here and read about the trans failures with these rigs and I did the radiator bypass to eliminate that problem. Now it has come time to look into replacing her pathfinder, it runs like a top, doesnt lea...

Thanks smj, I had some log in issuses, so I kinda took a stab at it after I read your post, heres what I know now. self diagnostic= 00, no faults found. I ended up buying the drivers side damper actuator and installing it, while in the process of doing that I got checking around some of the other ma...

Drivers side heat........sometimes

Hi All, My wifes '06 is giving her some issues. Every now and then the drivers side heat will blow cold air. At first I thought it may be do to the fact that she normally has the pass. side her cranked up to 85 and the drivers side 70, but thats not always the case. WE were out the other day in her ...

What is involved with replacing the tensioner pulley? Cheap part? I would buy a good quaility one, its cheaper than buying another belt and pulley down the road and you won't have to worry about it for the life of the belt (hopefully). I always stay away from the "cheap" parts, but thats ...

thanks for all the replies, but no one is stating weather your using the stick on ones or the in the channel ones. As I stated before I'm using the in channel ones on my silverado but hey are close to the window which makes throwing a cigarette out the slightly open window tricky. I'd really like so...

window vent/shades

I'm looking for some window/ vent shades for my '06. I have some "in the channel" ones for my 09 silverado that work good, but they don't leave much room between the window and the shade. I prefer the ones that go in the channel as apoosed to the ones that are attached with double sided ta...

I just did mine also, there is no diagram but you could take a few pics if you need to. I removed the flexible tube for the air intake and went at it. The pulley will tell you which side of the belt will end up on them, it not a real hard thing to put back on. As a suggestion I would take a real goo...

The dealership I bought it from had the carfax on it, I didn't get to see the report with my own eyes, but I think the guy would have said something about it, he did tell me it was in a "minor" accident a few years back. I was really hoping the updated raditator had some identifiable featu...

Nissan radiator ID

Hello all, my wife just purchased an '06 LE with 71k miles on it, after finding this site and doing some reading here, I went ahead and did the bypass for the trans cooler lines. Well I got to look around under her truck yesterday and noticed the area where the trans and tranfer case meet apear to b...
